The author had been frustrated over the delays that had encompassed his life and ultimately gave up. He went back to his saint, asking him, I want to achieve things at a faster pace. The more I try to expedite things, the more they seem rooted.

The Sanit replied, Have you ever been on the Shimla toy train? It runs at a very slow speed. But it has never run empty, do you know why?

I told him, people enjoy the ride, possibly that’s why.

The Saint smiled and said, There you are, you should enjoy the ride even if it is slow only then you can survive the TEST of the TIME.

 

I thanked the saint and returned home, with a thought in my mind that said, “पाजी कदी हस वि लेया करो” and I looked up and smiled.

I asked The Saint for a virtual meet on ZOOM, I felt happy to meet him.
I was upset at the ongoing Covid and was more stressed at extended working hours from home. I told him about these, he gave a simple answer:

"नौकरी करनी है तो, ना क्या करनी"

If you want to do a job (service), then you rarely have an option to say NO. He said that it was unfortunate that Covid had come, but see the multiple lessons it is preaching:

1. Devote time to almighty

2. No wastage

3. Understand and give more time to family

4. Give time to your body

I met the saint after a very long time and apologiosed at the outset for not being in touch
I was upset at the acquisition of my existing company by a bigger one as per the norms of Big Fish eat smaller fishes and the small ones are treated more like as if they do not know how to work and are taught how to work, looking more like irritating and frustrating, I told the saint and he simply said: "Dont worry, this too shall pass"

I told him, my Manager seems to be frustrating me and am not able to tell him

The Saint said: Just speak to him and you will be able to resolve as बात करने से तो बात resolve होती है

To which I kind of confronted him: Arguing with your Manager is like wrestling with a pig in the mud.

Infact the PIG is enjoying and you are getting dirty.
The Saint said, have you ever confronted your Manager like you did me,  I am sure if you do this ways he will be on the backfoot, I realized the Saint knows the silly state of us Corporate ppl in front of our Managers, we just stand in front of them saying Yes Sir, हो जायेगा Boss,  कर दूंगा Boss

I once again apologized, for my confrontation to the Saint and came back home thinking WIll my confrontation work or won't work??
