The author had been frustrated over the
delays that had encompassed his life and ultimately gave up. He went back to
his saint, asking him, I want to achieve things at a faster pace. The more I
try to expedite things, the more they seem rooted.
The Sanit replied, Have you ever been on
the Shimla toy train? It runs at a very slow speed. But it has never run empty,
do you know why?
I told him, people enjoy the ride, possibly
that’s why.
The Saint smiled and said, There you are,
you should enjoy the ride even if it is slow only then you can survive the TEST
of the TIME.
I thanked the saint and returned home, with
a thought in my mind that said, “पाजी कदी हस वि लेया करो” and I looked up and smiled.
